I came to realize that life lived to help others is the only one that matters and that it is my duty...This is my highest and best use as a human.

Accountability:

Every individual has ownership in his/her behaviour and the consequences (negative or positive) of that behaviour.Blame and irresponsibility are inhibitors to positive growth and development.

Self Efficacy:

All of us have the ability to cause events in our lives based on our beliefs.  If we focus on what we want, and believe in what we want, we can achieve it!!  If we focus on what we don’t want, and we  believe it... it will  become our reality.  Either way, we have a choice.

Internal Locus of Control:

Events that occur in our lives result from our own behaviour and attitude.  If we control our behaviour and attitude in a positive manner, we control our ultimate success..

Life Balance:

Every part of our life has direct  impact to how successful we become.  If there is an aspect to our life that causes a great deal of stress, it will spill over to other areas..

Truth & Honesty:

Always be truthful and honest!!!  If you put truth on the table in the first place, it can be dealt with and a solution can be found in a short period of time. Your credibility and the level of trust from others will be strong.

In Loving Memory of DODI

in loving memory of... DODI

At a time in my life when I was in need of a strong and loving companion that would accompany me on my adventures of hiking, canoeing, swimming, and camping and give me peace of mind and a feeling of safety... into my life came a beautiful, gentle lady.   A black lab/german shepherd cross, full of life, warmth, and affection!

Dodi spent over 9 years by my side providing protection and unconditional love and devotion.  Although Dodi was not a “therapy” dog in official terms... she definitely provided the benefit of companionship, transforming my life far beyond expectation and touching everyone who came to know her.

At the age of 12, on September 1, 2009, Dodi went on to new adventures.

In honour of Dodi’s memory, I have chosen to support a charity that reflects the blessed gift she was to all of those she touched.

Please follow this link to Pawsitive Links Society and participate in the gift of unconditional love.
